Bubonic Plague (infected flees/prairie dogs) found in Westminster Parks Area. Signs have been posted at Open Space areas near Standley Lake and Mower Reservoir. Officials recommend avoiding the area and definitely stress keeping your dogs out of this area completely until it tests clean again.I will fish through a lot of stuff but you really have to be talking “Big Fish” before I will brave an area infected with something like this. West Nile is a mild cold compared to the Bubonic Plague.
